Last week we had the privilege of working with some of the most skilled, professional and absolutely fabulous vendors around on a marketing piece for the Padre Hotel. We would like to thank Liz Netherton the Director of Special Events and Catering at the Padre Hotel for asking us to photograph the marketing session. We would also like to thank all of the amazing vendors: Jenny Barker from Little White Dress for bringing in so many stunning gowns for us to use, Julie Hansen of Via Bella and our Hair Stylist for her gorgeous work, Danielle Vance our brilliant MUA, Amanda and Diana from A House of Flowers for the totally breathtaking bouquets, my buddy Patrick Ang who shot video for a promo video we will be posting very soon, and of course our gorgeous models Stephanie and Melissa who you can see in all of the photos. We’ve had the opportunity to work with a lot of people, and I have to say that this team was thrown together very last minute, but in spite of this everyone collaborated on this project as if they had been working together for years. I also want to send out another thank you, to my good friend Colleen Bauer, who is our Fairy Godmother, and without her kind words about us to Liz at the Padre, none of this would have ever happened for us. So enjoy the images from the session, and if you are planning your wedding or any other type of event, you absolutely have to check out these vendors!
Danielle + Michael :: Save-The-Date Session
Last night we could not have asked for a more perfect Save-The-Date session. Danielle and Michael are absolutely adorable together, the weather was perfect, the lighting was phenomenal and the scenery was beautiful. Oh and did I mention that we had the good fortune of shooting with a pregnant horse named Bella… I honestly think that she has her own modeling contract, because she was a total ham in front of the camera! Speaking of models, to answer a previously asked question… No, Danielle and Michael are not models. They are a real couple that are totally in love, unbelievably photogenic and they have given us the honor of shooting their wedding next June. This is only the first part of their engagement photos. They really wanted to get some Save-The-Dates out, so we put this shoot together as quickly as possible. Later in the fall we are going out for a second session at a surprise location, which we are totally stoked about. So keep checking back for more photos of Danielle and Michael in the next couple months. Until then, enjoy these gorgeous images from their Save-The-Date session…
Myra’s Travels?!?!
I don’t know if it was because I saw a preview for another remake of Gulliver’s Travels or if the three of us just had too much fun and become completely delirious, but this is what happens when you put a fun loving young couple and a wacky photographer together on a shoot! This is only a sample of the great images we got from Myra and Beny’s engagement session, but I just had to put it up!

Mike + Vicki’s Vegas Style Wedding!
Mike and Vicki’s wedding in Vegas was definitely a memorable one. From the Choral Suite on the 61st floor of Mandalay Bay to the the after party at the Foundation Room and Ghostbar, the views were nothing less than breathtaking! These two make a great couple, and you could tell by the way Mike’s 15 and 20 year old sons welcomed Vicki to their family! Mike and Vicki were kind enough to invite us to come along and celebrate such a beautiful event! Here’s just a few of the images from their wedding…

Ross + Roxanne’s Wedding In The Country!
I met Ross and Roxanne several months ago, when they came to me wanting to do an engagement session. When they told me they wanted to book us for their wedding as well, I was ecstatic… they make such a cute couple and anyone who spends a few minutes with them will see that they are head over heels in love with each other! I was honored to shoot their wedding, and since they since the wedding took place at the beautiful Park Place in Shafter… add all the ingredients up and you have one beautiful wedding! I also have to thank my dad and Sara the wonderful intern from South Dakota who came out to help me as second and third shooters. They did an amazing job, and I couldn’t have done it without them!

Friday Funny!
Well I’m off to shoot Ross and Roxanne’s wedding today with Intern Sara and my dad! Before I go I have an image to share…
Just look at this guy my daughter brought home! He show’s up at our house, kicks his feet up on the furniture and gets into the ice cream… not to mention he looks way too old to be hanging out with a 6 year old!
I want to know what he’s up to, with that devious smirk on his face…

Joe + Julia :: Sunset Engagement
Tonight I had a chance to get to know Joe and Julia a little better, and let me tell you, they are an awesome young couple! They are two of the nicest and most cheerful people you’ll ever meet. Joe works for the railroad, which of course meant we had to start out on the tracks. After that we ended up heading out towards Kern Canyon for a more rural look! I am so excited to be shooting their wedding next weekend! Here are a few of the shots from their engagement session, and make sure you come back to our blog after May 22nd to see some images from their wedding! We already have some really fun stuff planned for the pictures!

Derek + Ally wedding teaser… more photos coming soon!
I’ve been editing the images from Derek and Ally’s wedding on Mother’s Day and I am having trouble choosing my favorites. They are such an adorable couple, I just love them all! There will definitely be more images from this stunning wedding very soon, but here are a couple to tide everyone over until they are ready!

Derek + Ally Engagement Session
